As part of Logan Center for the Arts Chicago Stages, Jeremy Joél Warren and the Messengers of Black Music perform a free one-hour set at Café Logan. This is a free pre-show concert before the University of Chicago Presents concert THEON CROSS.

Jeremy Joel Warren is a drummer/percussionist, composer and band leader hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Though young in years, his sound and style is enriched with a background in Jazz, Gospel, Blues and many other Black American Influenced Genres. Jeremy has studied under the likes of many of jazz greats such as Charles Rick Heath IV, Ernie Adams, Dana Hall, legendary Jazz bassist Rufus Reid and the late-great Willie Pickens.
