Farewell to Bobby Durham

Legendary drummer for great acts like Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby Durham, passed away due to lung cancer complications at the age of 71. Also notable was his work with the Oscar Peterson Trio. He was renowned for his subtle use of brush sticks with simultaneous scat singing. I find his works with Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald to be the more superior of his output, compared to his collaborations with Dizzy Gillespie and Duke Ellington. How do you remember this great drummer?
